Looking for someone to join our office events team in SMITHFIELD, New South Wales

We are currently looking for someone to join our office team. We are a busy party hire company located in Smithfield. We hire out a range of equipment such as chairs, tables, lighting and sound, staging, chocolate fountains, slushie machines, fairy floss and popcorn and much more. We cover a range of events such as birthdays, corporate events, weddings, festivals, fashion shows, night clubs and more.
The job is a full time role, Monday to Friday, 9am- 5pm. The role involves attending to incoming calls for new bookings and questions, as well as responding to online enquiries, confirming bookings and general customer correspondence. You must be able to use a Mac computer, and also be comfortable using microsoft outlook for email, and have basic microsoft excel knowledge.
We are ideally looking for someone who has an interest in or is studying events or event management. We work on some big events so you will learn alot with us.
We seek someone who is reliable, has a good phone manner and can write well as much of our communication with customers is via email. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.
